Vivid Racing Are Scammers

All,

You laughed at me on Thursday for great reason. I contacted Vivid about purchasing the STi Agency Power Short Shifter and quoted be DIFFERENT than they did last week. The reason was that they quoted me the WRX version...BS. Take a look at this link off of ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

They have sold the 6spd STi short shifter for a low $60 but they can't sell it to me for $70. They are asking for $85 right now. Go to ebay and the short shifter is NOW listed at $85 on ebay. I'm not saving a penny and whomever purchases it off of ebay is getting ripped off. I am going to give them negative feedback on ebay.

I even told them they don't have a good rep here in Hawaii. Everyone talks about how bad they are and they don't care. These people irritate me. Well anyway...I guess I won't be having that much now to install on my car this weekend unless I go to another company to get these items. Its BS.

Ok...I'm done venting right now.

AGAIN...STAY AWAY FROM VIVID RACING....THEY ARE RIP-OFFS AND LIARS.

When I first got on to i-club, that was one of the first things I learned. STAY AWAY FROM VIVID RACING. That was a while ago, I had wondered if their customer service had gotten better since that time. I guess after 2 years it is still the same..

Ditto!!!

I joined I-Club about 2 years ago as well when I purchased my 04 STI...I ordered a B&B Exhaust system (Cat Back) from them...things seem to go pretty smooth at first...it was in stock and ready to ship...supposedly...

I got a good price, at the time and shipping they said would be $150!!! That was suppose to be for 2 day delivery....well two weeks later, and a dozen phone calls, they said an error was made and that it was sent out Slow Boat...I also found out that it was not in stock at the time of purchase...I finally received the exhaust after 3 weeks...I was very civil throughout this whole time...when I spoke to the Manager there...he refused any sort of compensation and showed no remorse...

I politely told them that I would never do business with them again and that I would never recommend them.

I never realized it until I dealt with them on this case. I will never purchase from them at all. I called back later today to see if I got my money. Well...I can only get store credit. He said he was nice enought to accept back the Ebay purchase for store credit. I have to use that money there anyways. After discussing the situation to several people and sending an email explaining my frustration...finally completed my FINAL transaction with them. I did get a few bucks off from the parts that I did order. They said the package will be shipped out tomorrow in time for the weekend install. I hope he is right...if not, they will recieve another call from me on Monday. Thanks for the reality check all.

Don't hold your breath unless you have a tracking number in hand they are known for saying "We shipped it out already"..

hmmm ... got good & bad things 2 say bout vivid. maybe bout 2 years ago when i first got my wrx . i ordered a bunch of parts from them , with no problems . 2 years go by and ordered a chargespeed kit from them , got a quote on shipping . was 'round 400 bucks. which was 2-day air frieght . then out of nowhere the quote when up 2 600 bucks . they screwed over my buddy who has a account with them ( which i think he might drop .) they tell him that they have parts in stock . then when he calls for the tracking # ... they give him the runaround . i hope they get things straight .and stop screwing people over .
