The time needed to tune a combo varies from car to car, but I would estimate
2-4 hours. The Blitz intake is hard to tune for. We could tune for the
boost that your controller would run, but would prefer to let the AccessECU
control boost, fuel and timing,so the boost controller and AFC are
redundant. In that case the AccessECU would only be controlling timing.
Allowing the AccessECU to control boost and fuel will be much more
consistent than the piggy-back methods.

We will allow all AccessECU customers to buy the AccessPort once it is
available for the difference.

Let me know if you have any other questions, or feel free to search and/or
post on our Forum.

oh, well, having an aftermarket boost controller like the blitz can only help control boost better, imo. the stock soleniod is 'ok', but the blitz soleniod is much better. I just like the sbc-id/powermeter combo!

where did the afc thing come in play? do you have an afc on your car now too?

I was thinking that being able to control boost (either lower or higher than what they re-program for) would be better for me but Im sort of stuck in the middle right now because riding in my friends car that has a stage 2 re-flash from cobb feels like it pulls way harder than my car and he has less stuff than I do. Granted that my car is not properly tuned but still. Prior to the re-flash he had a unichip (stage 0 I think) boost controller and a cai, his car sucked with that setup. Cobb told him the same thing about the boost controller so he also got rid of it. My question is would keeping the SBCi-d be more of a help or hinderence?

Im basically stock for now but I do have some stuff that I need to put on as soon as I get these EM questions out of the way.

need to install:
vf 22
injectors (sti)
fuel pump
cusco dp
kakimoto catback
intake manifold (ricer piece )
turbo inlet hose
cusco radiator hoses
sti flywheel and clutch assem
hks up pipe
on the car:

sbci-d/powermeter
turboxs fmic
zerosports intake pipe
blitz sus air element
hks dp
gt spec manifold
pde up pipe

Thanks for the help sean

Ralph

If I were you, I'd wait to sell it. I think that's a nice combo.
You can always disconect it and see how the car is with and without it, ... then you could make a choice without guessing.

when you get a reflash, your biggest gains will come from the fuel and timing curves obviously. After driving Richie's car with the Vishnu reflash stage (whatever they call there vf34+goodies), ... it pulls really nice! and smooth too! but I still think he could benifit from having a boost controller.

Are they going to have a map for all the things on your car!? You're going to have a sweet *** setup (you already do!)!!
I gotta see that turboxs fmic in person!!

I'm not sure if they are gonna have a map for all the crap I listed, I'll be paying more for the intial reflash because of the extra dyno time that will have to be done to make the map. I still need to get some things cleared up on how exactly they tune for custom setups ie (will they need me to send my parts with my ecu or do they have the parts I listed just laying around for tuning purposes). Thanks sean and yes I need to get out with you guys more often as I've been a hermit for awhile.

Ralph

I'm gonna hold on to the boost controller until I get the reflash.
