I talk to Ryan a few weeks ago when he swapped my tires and they didn't seem like they were going anywhere. if anything they trimmed some fat off of the shop and were also in the process of renovating.

Yep...in addition to that, they are going to focus on Subarus and general automotive repairs in the near future. They aren't going anywhere. It's just Ryan and Davin...
Maybe they are just dropping the naming rights or whatever with Tarzan?
I dunno how that all worked out...just remember they changed names from whatever they were before when they sold air fresheners at Ala Moana.

Speedgear, Ahhhh.....memories. Keys chains on the right, model cars on the left, DVD's and mirrors in the back left next the the TV, and back right was auto parts.

t-shirts on the left, zippos, pedals, steering wheels and shift ***** to your right when you walk in... next to the shirts was car models, air fresheners, broadway mirrors, then dvds and HKS air filters. ooh I remember always wanting to buy the green Tanaka harnesses on the back showcase where the strut tower bars on the bottom of the tv was and to the right of that was a showcase with parts mostly hks/blitz parts ... and thats all I can remember cause I used to go there evey lunchbreak haha now theres nothing to do and I remember getting Tarzans autograph when they were planning to close the Alamoana store ahh the memories. ^^

Vakamon has changed its name to Vakamon Motorsports and is in the process of putting up new signage--they are still in same place and not planning to move.
