nah, just got bored and so im doing dumb things to the car that most people would laugh at (even tho they are secretly jealous).

So uhm...wtf are you doing then? Chrome'ing all your bolts and nuts?

I just changed my wife's car's oil (son of a ***** Nissan with the filter in the back...it all splooged down my arm).

Detailed my car for winter action...cleaned and sealed my summer rims...went back to the stock BPV.

 

just polishing stuff. i decided to take the plunge and polish the coolant reservoir. i started to do it on the car but quickly realized that there was no way that i was gonna get it done on the car before my back gave out. so i drained it and took it off, without spilling more than a couple drops of coolant i might add. then i started polishing and realized the bolts on the top were making things even more difficult so i took the whole thing apart and cleaned it inside and out. still only about halfway done polishing cause i gotta keep charging the battery on the dremmel but i think its gonna come out nice. takes a looooong time to polish that material tho. i think its gonna end up taking longer than my whole turbo and fuel system install haha. ill post pics later.

Is it an aftermarket coolant reservoir or the thingie on the top of the engine?

I swear my coolant reservoir is plastic.
