hey anyone know when there might be a tuning day with one of those guys from the mainland i heard the guy from oregon is real good and are there any other guys that might be here on island that can help me tune my car??any tip would be welcomed thanks

 

yeh me and my guys just got tuned by AMS...... i think that PDX is coming in FEB?

i know we are bring back AMS for a few cars that couldn't get tuned this time around and others that need to re-tune for more power(HP hungry bastids lol). i need to fix the IGN on my other car and add some other things to that car. shooting for 310rwhp @ 250rwhp now

my car is done and feels good i'll post #'s and dyno later.


also a tip for anyone who dyno'd tuned there car's with TMIC ( doesn't matter who your tuner is) i would re-dyno your car for actual AWHP/AWTQ

ex. my first tune i was on the dyno for 2 hours b4 we made my best pull. and i had a 204awhp/212awtq

then when i tuned this time i asked my tuner to do a quick pull without messing with anything to see what my actual #'s were since y car was heat soaked the last time( i knew my car felt stronger then 204.) so he did and i came out with 210awhp/224awtq ~that was without changing anything it was just b/c my car wasn't heat soaked.

so i need to go back and re-dyno again to get my actual #'s from this tune and i know my car feels much better now (since i got a pressure sensor now)

to the best of my knowledge the pdx tune is full. they only had room for a few cars. but do like shagsta says and try and get in with the next ams one. good luck

You may want to consider opensource like enginuity as well.

There are several OTS maps out there for that...I have a stage 2 through it.

 

Is he in charge of the attendance roster for the Tune in Feb.
