Tuner Transformation: Silver 04 STI

Anyone insane like me and up watching the TV at 5:00am this morning? I was just channel surfing when I came across the show on the speed channel...Tuner Transformation. I watch this whenever I come across it...

Anyways, the car they were working on, when I had to leave for work, was a Silver 04 STI....stock....

Last I heard (I had to tape it), they were going to take off the hood scoop and wing, add wheels, probably coilovers, FMIC, Exhaust and some type of computer modification...

I think that show airs every morning at 5am for those interested...

He brent, I got my stock front end-links, and I know where my rear ones are. We can't get them until Jon gets back.

I looked through the digital tv and couldn't find it. Is that show on Speed or Spike?

Hmmm...very strange...

GPat...

Speed Channel...Digital 214

Ya, your'e right...I just checked the digital and it didn't say tuner transformation...but I have it on tape...it's a pretty cool show...I've seen them work on a SRT4, 89 BMW M3, Nissan 300zx, Nissan 240sx, pretty cool cars...

The owners give them a budget and they go to it...3 guys
The latest project Sti had a $5000 budget to work with...I'm going to go and watch it right now...

1-Specializes in Exterior cosmetics
2-Specializes in Suspension
3-Specializes in Powertrain

5am Hawaii time...what is that...9am Indiana time?

Yeah, I've seen it before where they did a Vishnu-tuned EVO. Very cool show. I just couldn't remember which network. I did one of those 'sports'->'motorsports' searches where I went hour by hour for every channel and I couldn't find it.

Just watched most of it...

Gotta take the boy to Karate now though...never ends I tell you...Karate, Baseball, Soccer, Judo, Holllllly!

Here is what I saw...

1. APS FMIC Installed
2. APS Intake
3. APS 3" TBE
4. Cross Drilled Rotors and Brake Pads
5. ECUTEK Tuning
6. Painted Flat Black BBS Stock STI Wheels
7. STock Hood w/no Scoop (Flat Black)
8. Stock Trunk Lid (Flat Black)
9. Stainless Clutch Line

I thought they were going to do coilovers but I didn't see them do it...

The guy testing it out was pretty impressed with the STI....car looked and sounded good.

didn't get to see the end yet...

Ya, I kind of figured...I like my rear spoiler and the front hood scoop... but they should have put on the WRC type hood...when I get an FMIC...that is what I am going to look for...

I like the venting and the reverse scoop look...
