You may want to consider having the place that did your alarm do it for you. That's what I did and it works fine. I can arm the car while it's still running and the ignitiion kill still works once the TT has shut off the car. Every once in a while my alarm will go off from the vibration when the car shuts down though turning off the AC helps a lot in that area.

Nope all interested parties are now "un"interested. So I can play with it again now, hence the Profec and TT.

Yeah Special T can do it, and I would have to go back anyways and have them mess with the alarm so might as well call Efren and see when they can do it. Was hoping to actually see the install. It sounds easy, but I wouldnt dare try it myself.

I have my alarm

set to the most sensitive setting and it doesn't go off with the air conditioner on and my exhaust is a little loud. I do have to mute the stereo, as the bass will set it off. I think mehlt's advice is appropriate as my install shop had to put a relay between the timer and alarm so the alarm would arm with the engine running.

I guess I have a paranoid alarm. I'll probably stop by my installer one day and see if he can set it back a little. My selection of turbo back in the future may cause it to alarm all the time when I arm while the TT is running.

The install is easy if you have a wiring harness, but with an aftermarket alarm there is more to it. In my case he didn't use the wiring harness and hardwired everything.

Yeah he did the same on the old rex when i got the alarm. Worked great. He needs to fix some stuff with the stereo and alarm anyways so good timing...

Like previously mentioned, the TT installation is a piece of cake but incorporating your aftermarket alarm requires a little more. I just installed my Blitz DCC TT last weekend and will be getting my tint and alarm done today (finally) at Special T.

Glad I dont have to be responsible now!
