Tracks on friday

Went to the tracks on friday and ran a personal best of 14.05 with my wrx without any engine management. My car ran great, but I think I didn't give the clutch enough time to cool down. (wasn't very busy so I ran at least 15 times) Anyhow, now I can't get into gear and my baby ais just sitting. Oh well, I had fun!

shane 15 times is too many times....and were you slipping or dumping the clutch...anyway i hope you solved the problem...

most of the time when i run my car...i don't run more than 4 times....the most was 6 but that's it and was long time ago....

Yeah but I was getting better times each run. Just couldn't help it. I am getting it checked to make sure it is not anything else besides the clutch, but I am most likely going to get an ACT clutch and flywheel. I know...stupid me

shane, from personal experience, you need at LEAST a half an hour between runs to let turbo/intercooler/motor cool down, not to mention clutch tires and brakes....15 runs is WAY too many times, congrats on the PB though. if u run hot, ur gonna run higher trap speeds, but higher ETs as well...from ur problem id say that either ur clutch is toast or ur tranny. for ur sake i hope its the clutch.

u MUST slip the clutch off the line....let me guess, u were doing pretty significant burnouts werent you? dont drop it...out cars wont handle it. these aint hondas....

anyway, hope it all works out for you, PM me if you have any other questions.

Tom
