Car Info: Hi, I'm John.
hypothetically, if we procrastinated a bit, can we give cash donation instead of a toy (and still be involved in the raffles, ect?)

what kinda toys are we aiming to buy? dolls-type for little kids so they don't choke? or can we get them cooler stuff? I want to donate something I would want for myself too, not just some generic toy y'know?

i don't want to sound like a broken record, but whatever comes from the heart. the marines do a very good job in distributing these based on the need. if u want to give more then you will definitely make a lot of kids happy this holiday season.

Yep. Since I deal with children and families as part of my job description, you'd be surprised how much these gifts help. When I was 5, I went to those events where the Salvation Army(Toys for Tots is the same concept) gave out toys to kids for Christmas. Our family didn't have much as we were new immigrants, but it made me appreciate gifts given by just ordinary people.

Kit toys such as Play-dough and Lego's work really well also, as they service a broad range of ages and help with the development and imagination with children.
