I don't understand how I ruined a masterpiece?

My goal is to get the most dish out of these wheels as I can. A 18x9.5 +19 offset will produce a lot more dish then if I went with 18x10 +35. Plus I wouldn't have to run spacers and the wheel would be more flush to the fender. In addition to that there were rotas on the car before and I'm now putting works on. So you are saying because I'm trying to do my own thing and I didn't leave Brandon's car the way it was it's ruined?
