Tire Repair
Tire Repair
Anyone know where to get a tire repaired? Firestone wouldn't do since they considered it too close to the outer area....or they just want me to by new ones.... Screw hit right past the last set of tread on Hankook RS3's. Thanks in advance.
You can surely figure out how to put a plug in yourself if you want to risk it, however, they are probably the most important safety feature on your vehicle so I personally wouldn't risk it.

Just go to checkers and buy a plug kit. I've run plugs out there without issues before. Sometimes they'll start leaking and then the tire is definitely done, but if it holds air I'm comfortable with it.

That's repairable.
Don't ever use a plug. ALWAYS patch it. Plugs are completely worthless. That being said, even if you patch it, that tire isn't safe to be used on a race track.
