Tire q.

I tried searching the tire rack thread but didn't come out with good results. some one said they can hook me up with Federal brand tires for like $80 EACH. i never heard of this brand. any opinions if it is good or not? what do you guys recomend?
I need new tires for my car and was wondering what is a good tire to run with now days. I do all street driving but like performance tires.

guy, just go to the tire rack section and they discuss what are good tires for the money. never heard of federal tires b4. then again, there are many tires that i have never heard of. i stick to what is proven, and trust from experience.

i would say that federal is like a generic equivelent at best. pay a little more for a good set rather than buying some feds. i'm not a fan of their tires, but thats just me.

Thumbs up yo...yo....

hey guys dont knock it till you try it... i never knew what the hell kind of brand is Federal until me and my homies started rolling on them... on yea dont get me wrond about the tire rack though... they are good and all but the price you going pay for a set of tire rack with shipping might as well get them from down here.. come to my shop and i can show you guys a whole lot of different types of tires so like i said dont knock it till you try it... and yo.... yo.... you guys want JDM well add this one to your list of JDM Mods... Federal is strictly JDM... maybe even to JDM for some of us...

but hea i can get them at $90.00 dollars each... and falcons i can get for $110.00... and the new Kumho's which are now cooper for $120.00... i also can bring in tires from the tire source so let me know what you all needs....

What kind of tires are you looking for? Max performance, no compromises, cost no object summer? Low price, long treadwear all-seasons? R-compounds? Snow tires? Truck tires?

anything with the name bridgestone on it. If you want the best get the BFgoodrich KD's or KD/W's. The best bang for the buck seems to be the Kumho 712's, which for a set of 225/45/17's comes out to $424.00 including shipping from tire rack. If you are not very familar with tires read the reviews on tire rack and buy a tire they stock. Not sure what size you need, but $80 each for a tire you never heard seems like an expensive risk.
