We all started at the bottom of the heap, don't worry about it. Come out to the Test n Tune on the 29th so you can get lots of runs in, get some rides with other guys, see how people do things differently.

The more wheel time the better. I've only been at it a little over 2 years and while I've improved quite a bit I still have a LOT of room for improvement. Hang in there and keep coming out, you'll get better as you learn more about car control.

 

this was only my 2nd time and i could tell that i did things differently already. definitely come out for the test and tune. i'll be there.

 

So Test and Tune is like what? No heats? Just keep running?

from what i understand, at the test and tune you work one heat, then you can run till your heart's content. which probably mean that i'll need some new tires next month after auto-x.

 

N/A, about 200-205hp at the crank when it's working right. It has Cobb heads and cams, MRT exhaust, Injen CAI, S-AFC, and aluminum flywheel. I think one thing that made a difference was that I reset my ECU in the morning, and the engine seemed happier - not as much hesitation as I normally get.

I plan to come and watch during the test and tune.

I wanna learn more about tire pressure and all of that stuff before I do another timed event where they put my roodie pooh times on the internet

I think I might run during that day too but will have to wait and see if I get of the stuff on my wish list.
