times are hard....
here's my situation...
1. i work at a supermarket for minimum wage...
2. we're getting hour cuts at work...
3. we're supposedly getting a raise next paycheck...
4. school sucks...
5. i need money to work on car...
6. i need money to go to school...
7. i need money for a gift for my girlfriend...
8. i currently dont have enough money for gas...i only have a 1/4 tank left....and currently searching throughout my house for loose change that's left behind by people in my house....
hard times...for a college student getting paid minimum wage...bleh...

Just use my thinking just when I am in need of money it ends up showing up from somewhere just don't worry about it....And you think girlfriends are expensive try being married cost ya more and they never leave....

theres always low maintenence ones out there are fits your needs...
anyway....
same here, i make 10+/hr but I spend too much money on stuff like that to spend on my car. just learn how to budget...at least you're not paying rent

i make 10 an hour, but work once a week. gotta concentrate on school right now. wish i could work on my car, but that will have to wait. unfortunately my gf is last on the list of things to worry about.

set your priorities and work your way from #1 down.
when I was going to college I couldn't afford a new car so I shared a used one w/ my brothers and for the most part caught the bus to UH.
for me having a nice car and the money to mod it was low on my priority list not because I didn't want to do it but because other things were more important. you need to figure out what's important to you.
