Thoughts on race gas

Anyone give any thought to draining their fuel and pouring in about 2 gal of C16? Or maybe just pure 100 unleaded?

I know this goes against the 'less than half-tank rule', but 7.5 gal of race gas, no matter how motivated I might feel, is just a pure waste.

Also, I know C16 is leaded, but how much detrimental effect could it have on my sensor if, say, my sensor has been dead for months. (at least I think it is.)

Go for it!

My Mustang O2 sensors used to JUST start to give out after
3-4 Dyno sessions and 3-4 track outings (~1-2 months)...

I'm not so sure the 1/2 tank rule applies anymore. I'm going to be testing that out after I get my new clutch in.

I think you should develop a C16 map if you plan on really taking it to the next level.

Oh, yeah. I know I'd have my work cut out for me. Maybe you and I could do some fuel tuning. Man, that could get expensive, huh? Does it come in 5 gal. cans? How much?
