bump from the dead...mobi can finally start porting numbers now...i switched over to them today...reception is pretty good, from my limited experience today...as long as i can catch calls at my house, i'm good...i live in ewa and get 2 bars on my nokia phone...i got the cheepie phone, as they say more phones with more features will be released soon, and there'll be no activation charge when you wanna upgrade...

and it's fooking ironic, as the battery in my nextel i830 wasnt holding a charge anymore, so i needed a phone badly, and right after i bought the mobi phone, i opened my nextel phone to call a friend and lo and behold the hinge broke and , my i830 fell apart...

just fyi for those interested...

check mobipcs.com for locations, and yes they can port your number over...i went to the pearlridge location...i was impressed by their customer service there, the girl laurie remembered me, and even remembered i was from ewa- that impressed me a lot...

also, if you're worried about coverage, they have a money back guarantee...you just have to have less than 30minutes on the phone and ring it back within seven days and they'll refund you everything...also, they have a promo right now- first month free...

no affiliation, yada, yada, yada...just a happy customer...

of course if you need phone accessories or plans from another wireless carrier, i'd still recommend wireless city in waimalu shopping center
