Those running AP Stage2 on an STI in Hawaii

are you using the standard base map for stage 2 or did you have to use a HWG or LWG map to run in Hawaii?

Standard for street, hwg for track, use both 92 and 94 octane maps depending on how generous I feel with buying gas

Jes,

you're only supposed to use the HWG map IF AND ONLY IF you don't hit the target boost for the Stage 2 map with the regular map.

However people say different things.. I would actually ask cobb about it

Jon,

I was asking cause I have in my mind for some odd reason that if one person was running a hwg or lwg map that it would be normal for for everyone running stage 2 to use a hwg or lwg map in hawaii (kinda like how cobb has a cali designated map). i guess the way you are trying to explain it is that if you dont hit target boost or experience boost spike/creep then you should use a hwg or lwg map. Well I guess it looks like I wont be installing my AP till I get my guages in the mail.

no you can run the AP... it's got a real time boost gauge on it... but you'll need to have a co-pilot looking at it.

what I would do is flash the computer with the regular AP stage 2 map then if you do NOT hit the target boost then you can run a real time map of the stage 2 HWG and test it again.

then when your gauges come in you can spend all your time installing the gauges instead of waiting to do both you know?
