Those Krazy Kazakhs!
I just found a Subaru site from KAZAKHSTAN! Maybe I can pick up an KDM STi if I get deployed to Azzcrackistan? Cool.

I don't remember that at all. Was it down where Brown and Root had their maintenance bays at....near the French and, I think, Finnish PX's were? Or was it back behind the Cappucino bar where the Macedonian's did their training, between CAS and the Airport?
Did you ever get to the NATO HQ in Skopje? The German PX they had there was nice. So was their basement bar and the dining facility above the bar.

Actually I was only there for a short while. I personally haven't been to the swamp (the NCO club, MWR sponsored club), but i heard alot about it. I was there a whopping total of 2 days, so i didn't have the opportunity to wander around.
The only NATO HQ ive spent time at in that theater was for about 4 weeks over at Shape, half of that time I spent at the local pubs.

I was there from OCT '00 to MAR '01. When I was on Abel Sentry, they didn't let us drink until the end when my unit went and bought a buttload of beer and had a 'beer tent'. I do remember the little club where they had a pool table or two. There was a gorgeous (with all her teeth and everything), big-boobed blonde girl who worked there.
Also, the capuccino bar had some pretty girls.
6 months of being around pretty girls(some with teeth and some without) who you can't touch (because I am married, of course ) was harder than Ranger School.

Yeah...it was all non-alcoholic from what i can remember (O`Douls party). I didn't see ANY attractive woman when i was there...and if I did, I am also in the same situation as you (married).
I think being in Hawaii is the untimate test of my faith! After all the time i spent at the SFQC (18D)...ANY attractive asian woman i meet is a temptation!!!! That is the single reason i dislike this island...well except for the poor track!
Never had the opportunity to attend ranger school, mostly due to my MOS, but i heard its a blast!
