For those interested in stealth sub boxes
I just order from this guy today. He makes single 10in woofer boxes that fit in the spare tire. His prices for the Impreza sedan (he also makes wagon ones too) are wrong on his website I paid $285 shipped to my door step. Contact him for this pricing......

This is just the enclosure and sub-flooring...
not including the actual sub or does it?
How do you like the sound?
I've seen this kit before on Ebay and NASIOC...there is also a guy on NASIOC that made a custom fiberglass enclosure for under the passenger seat...using a 10" sub...but that one was about $575 or so with a sub...suppose to sound real nice as well.
Let us know how it sounds and what sub you used...

the price I quoted above is for the enclosure and floor panel w/carpeting only.....with a sub is an extra $50 the guy that builds them suggest putting in a memphis sub but any 10in sub requiring .50 to .75 air space will do. I personally will be using a eclipse sub.....I haven't heard it personally yet but some other mainlanders on another board recommends it...so I guess I'll be the test dummy for Hawaii.....I'll post up my reviews as soon as I install everything

^^^Thanks for the info...
A lot of us are concerned about losing trunk space (you know...golf clubs..heh heh) so this would be an ideal solution...
Please do let us know how it sounds.
Thanks,
