well I own an '05 wrx as of now, but I was thinking of switching over to a GC8 if I can find one in an okay condition and 5spd prefered. Anyway my question is if I'm going this route will it be a pain in the **** to make it into a wrx/sti spec?? as in engine, tranny swaps etc. Sorry for a typical question guys but I don't have a pc at home cause it broke down and am currently at work so no time to really research, if you guys can give me links that would be nice. The only reason why I'm considering the switch is because I can't really keep up with the payments on the WRX plus the insurance, and I think I would be better of with a GC8 with probably lower payments or better yet paid off and have some fun modding my vehicle a bit and save my money for other priorities like bills and stuff. I know a lot of people would probably recommend a beater to drive around but I can't let go of my subie!! any input is welcome thanks in advance guys hope you guys can help me out. payce!

Vakamon here locally has done a 04 STi swap into a GC8. Kevin at Garage Tuning is also a great resource and very easy to talk with.
