Talking Things that you can do in the mainland

I've been busy.

First I drove across country and some some cool stuff and got to legally drive 75

Then I got to MN. I went down to my local gas pump and bought 93 Octane Fuel for $1.649.

Then I drove up to the Mall of America. It's about 130 miles, and with stopping for a quick snack, it took us less than 2 hours. That is with traffic.

While at the Mall of America, Jenn and I had a breakfast of hot donuts, fresh from the donut-maker. Here are some pics

The first is the donut machine with FRESH, WARM, DONUTS.

This next pic is of a sign that tells you that these are, yes indeed, fresh hot donuts.

My last picture, for now, is of the sign from the outside of the Mall of America Krispy Kreme Donut shop. It opens at 9:00 am. The donuts were ungodly tasty. And I wish you all could have made the little trip with me.

MY next post will be of pictures I take at the Vikings-Jaguars Preseason Game I'm going to on Saturday. I'll be able to go to more than one Pro-Football game this year, and I intend to do it (baby-willing).

Laterz. Go hit the beach (I can't do that up here) for me and make me jealous

Dammit Greg, I was just about ready to eat my Pop Tarts and Coffee and now it seems like crap compared to those .

VERY coool.... I miss:
1. New things to see
2. New things to do
3. Road Trips
4. Latinas!
5. Seasons (miss the cool fall and cold winters!)
6. In-n-Out Burger
7. BIG indoor shopping malls/outlets
8. Jobs
9. Real highways and long straight roads with no cops
10. Snow, mountains, forests
11. Houses that normal people can afford.

Things I don't miss:
1. Gangbangers
2. Redneck ****kickers
3. Cholos
4. Cambodian thugees
5. Stuck up private industry suits with a holier than thou attitude
6. Car thieves at every turn
7. Rich frat boys

Wow, I guess I love the place - just not the people. (No offense, and present company excluded of course)

Oh yeah, I bet I would miss the doughnuts if I'd ever had one. I have a KILLER sweet tooth!

(Oh - add Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, Mr. Phipp's, Appleby's, Denny's on every corner, IHOP, etc.)

No wonder I was so fat in college.

I don't have the time (or available tools) to be doing any rallying. However, after I get to Colorado, it's ON!

Richard. I ate at Cheesecake Factory Wednesday night. I had the Four Cheese Pasta (Nummy!) and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cheescake (Absolutely Heavenly). Of course, the restaurant was full of rich kids (Edina, MN-home of the cake eaters) but I was with some good people so I didn't mind much.

If you all want, I can maybe pick up some KK. I'l be at the Mall of America again on Saturday. Of course I won't be able to ship them until Monday, which means you won't get them until Thrusday... another reason to love the mainland. Overnight means OVERNIGHT!

After Monday I'll be on the road again. This time alone, and on my way to a much less-happy place.

One of the not-so-nice things about the midwest

The midwest is great, but there is one thing about the summer (other than the sometimes blistering temps and humidity) are the bugs at night. I have decided to label my latest work of art, "Etchy's Summertime Insect Hibachi Grill"

I'm silly

Looks like you need a splitter for your hood scoop. All the bugs are only on the back half of the intercooler.
