which of these Twinscroll kits(daily driving street car)

hi everyone looking to built the ultimate street STI will be looking to built motor also

the car will see mostly highway and some auto-x, some drag.

considering a turbo kit as the next step.

Full Race Twinscroll GT35R kit

Full Race Twinscroll GT40R kit

Ultimate Racing twinscroll GT40R kit

Ultimate Racing twinscroll GT42R kit

i know these are large turbos but i spoke geoff at full-race and he assures me that the onset of power of both their kits are instantaneous in the twinscroll GT35R 1.06A/R is great as an auto-x kit.

Depends on how much power you want to make. I'm sure the Fullrace gt35r will be the best. But the price will be out he door. And is that a 1.06 hot side I'm going to say no way on auto-x with that hot side. I think even with a Twinscroll kit you no going to hit full boost till 5000 rpm or more. But with one of these kits and a well built motor the car will be a monster on the road.

really you dont need to build the motor to get a good amt of power. i think jose proved that you can break axels and tranny's with a stock block. as for turbo's, being twinscroll or not you are still not going to be good at both auto-x and drag. decide what you're going to do with the car and get some opinions from the people who have done it. i think before you dump a whole lot of money you should be very sure that it is what you want. there really is no point in building an sti to more than 400awhp here as there is no place for now that you can legally use it. if you want to superferry to maui for a few passes then great but thats a lot of time the car will be sitting around not being utilized. i think if you really think about it then you will probably want to stick to an all around sti rather than just something that has an off the charts dyno sheet you can put on the fridge. my xt puts down 300/336awhp with bolt ons and a tune, with a reasonable sized turbo you can and will put out good numbers and still be viable for auto-x and normal driving. in the end it's your car and we will ogle it no matter what you pick, just make sure you are going to be happy with it since you're the one who has to drive it.....oh and pay for the gas

Plus, built motor many times means sitting in the parking lot for your car to warm up before you can actually drive it not to mention the accompanying mods needed to support it. Dependant on build.
