You guys take this stuff way to literally and it's pretty silly.
The less amount of meets that we have means a bigger turn out when we do cruises and other charitable events. EVERYONE COMPLAINS that it's not how Josh and Blake had it but do you see Josh or Blake saying anything about the decisions I've made? NO
They fully support any changes that have been made.
Blake and Josh are NOT the only people that made HIIC the way it WAS. It was the contribution from the entire group of people. Unfortunately we have a NEW group of people that do NOT like to contribute much but like to complain!
This is not direct to you Jose but a general statement to the newbies that complain so much and not contribute.
I HAVE A FAMILY and OTHER MORE IMPORTANT OBLIGATIONS THAT COME FIRST than these meets. this is an extra thing that I've agreed to take responsibility for.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T COME. no one is forcing your hand or making you come to these meets. no one is making it manditory.
If there isn't an official posting and this has been covered many times feel free to come up with something on your own. Unlike some people I do not plan my whole week around this meeting that "supposed" to be on thursdays. In fact it's NOT supposed to be on any particular day. It just so happen to fall on Thursday since it was good for everyone else. I'm changing things a little. Change is good. Change brings new things and a new people.
LOOK FOWARD TO BOWLING EVENTS, BBQ, CRUISES...ETC. it's not just me that's doing the big events it will be a group effort. if you have something to add or questions regarding the posted "weekly meet" then post it in the thread.

Im just saying, much of Iclubers dont even know when it is, in matter of fact, some days they get the info, on the same day of the meet, or someone just takes the initiative to post something up, cause if not, I understand family is first, but the meets should be every week, w/o waiting till next week, that was just my point...btw...Im just puting it out there since no one would say nothing, but, like I said, Its all good...Peace-out

i agree on a weekly meet. tho the day doesn't matter and yes family is way more important then this forums but then again alot of the guys here don't have a family here in hawaii b/c there in the military so they consider this as there extended family. for example jose he is right now fightting a war for our country to be free. and comes to these boards to get his mind away from the war that he is in right now. i wouldn't be surprise if the boys in iraq laugh at us for these stupid dramas we have here. i dunno change is good like new locations or different days i'm behind ya on that. and weekly is best. and i'm am not arguining with noboy here so please don't take it that way thank you

wow, it seems like so long ago that the meets were just greg posting that he was going to starbucks. there was no set day or time. it was just, hey....i'm going to starbucks after work. anyone wanna meet up and chill should come down. things have gotten to the point where it's not even worth going because all anyone ever does is complain. i'm all for making new friends and getting out of the house once in a while, but long gone are the days of the "on the fly" meet. now it's i wanna know a week in advance and i'm not going it's too far. seriously, quit all the crying. i don't mean to be a d*ck, but it needs to be said. we are all adults, with jobs, and families. you all have lives outside of i-club, or at least i hope you do. i support jon's ideas and i think that change is good. if you don't like it, too bad. i will go to the meets when i can, and i hope you will do the same.

change is good... look at the whopper, they now have a tripple whopper. Then there's 7-up what was once just good.. is now good for you with there 100% natural ingredients. I think weekly meets are great... cause like shaggy said some of us dont have familes here. It gives me a chance to "mingle" with other ppl, but still leaves ample time to go to the movies... work on my pimpin skillz... hell even train to be a cage fighter. If all it takes is for someone to say "Hey im going to starbucks anyone wanna come?" to get together then there shouldn't be a problem.. theres no reason to complain whether its to far... or "I" [insert your name] have other plans and cant make it. Anyways im just bored right now... but i did go see x-men III today it was great!

if jon is going to make the meets every two weeks then that's fine, but if other people would like it to be weekly meets then you have that spare week to post up/meet up some place. there solved the problem.
