Tgv position

Eh guys real quick. So I have a CEL with no code so I took a memory snapshot and sent it to Cobb. They replied with P2005, which is a TGV code (INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK OPEN - BANK 2). So I go to take a look.

Is this the OPEN position? To me I assume closed but it won't rotate(not saying it should but I assume) any direction when I get some pliers on there.

The front piece is what spring loads the valve right? Or does the motor do that also? I can't remember...

Could try taking the cover off the other bank to compare.

Hope this helps. It's missing some parts but this is the motor side that controls the butterfly flap to open

Something else I noticed is this is just after a clutch change. Someone else on NASIOC also had this problem after a clutch change. He fixed it by replacing sensor. Think that would fix it?? I assume sensor is opposit the motor ie what I took off in the pics.

Clutch change causing the code? I think that may just be a coincidence that you and anoyher person had it happen after a clutch change. But if you wanna play guessing game, you can replace the motor AND the sensor.

Would be best to look up the code (shopkey5, NoData (AllData), mitchell etc.) to find out possible causes. Just by pulling codes just gives you an area of the problem, no specifics. To pinpoint the exact cause would need proper diagnosis.
