Higher spring rates on my Zeals were actually more comfortable than the Tein Flex. But if you're unhappy with the Flex you should contact Myles at Race Comp Engineering. Tell him San sent you and he'll hook you up. He won't sell you a suspension you don't need, he'll sell you something that will work for your needs. Nice guy, I've met him in person. Very professional and well regarded in the suspension and brake arena.

^^^The Cobb springs are actually pretty low...
They lower your car quite a bit...almost as low as the s-techs...but the rear looks as though it sags a bit...knowing that it is actually neutral stancewise, but due to the way the rear fender is made/cut.. it look like the rear is sagging...
I also had the Prodrive springs which doesn't lower the car all that much...but it sure rode nice as a daily driver...and no scraping...
Currently I am running the Cusco Zero-1's...as a daily driver they work great...no highway bounce...pretty firm, but not bad at all...not sure how they would do in autocross...haven't tried that yet...
I had the TEIN Flex's before and yeah...the wife did not like them at all...even with the EDFC set at the extremes...it was jarring...

IMO coilovers are overkill for the street. A well matched spring and strut combo is more than enough. Hell, my setup was enough for local SCCA Solo competition.

This is true, but you are riding on struts that cost more than most people here are willing to spend on their entire suspension setup! You do have a very nice setup by the way.

I don't drive hard on the street, only at the track. In my previous cars I used to set them up for the 1% of driving I used to do at the monthly event Solo event. In other words, the car used to be stiff all the time. The car wasn't ideal on a daily basis.
Now I have a setup that allows me to have a comfortable ride 99% of the time and I can stiffen it up for that monthly race.
IMO coilovers have too little bump travel and too high spring rates for daily driving. Unless the roads that you drive on are smooth like a race circuit, then most coilovers will feel harsh. There are some high end systems that can do both, but they are custom setups which cost a lot of money.
I realize that in this day and age it's the "IN" thing to run coilovers.
Personally, I found a setup that works for me and my family. It took a lot of homework, but I found something that I like.
BTW here's a pic of my setup at work on the track.

thanks for the info....the ride height doesnt really matter(as long as its not too low or high).... as long as the ride is much better than the FLEX's.
actually its my car...... it got back issues and my gf doesnt really like the ride. and i still want to have a agressive stance.
ride good?? but expensive tho??
