I was there. My car was there. My new tires and transfer case weren't. And Kimmie would probably have removed my ********* with an olive fork if I had run. So I just watched you guys kick ***. I'll definitely be running in the next one with the rest of the DSM looneys tho.

I was only able to get 6 laps in before I started seeing cooling issues. FMIC blocking radiator...bleh. The best lap time I posted in that short outing was a 44.75, which is almost a second slower than my personal best of 43.81.
I was hoping to improve that, but alas, the DSM gods smited me. lol
Good job Patrick on your lap time! I knew once you got the bugs worked out (wheel wanting to fall off) and became more comfortable with the track you'd start posting faster times!!
Chris Messer was VERY cool about letting me get back on the track for a few laps solo after I finally got the car running again. Way different perspective when you're the only one on the track...harder to gauge your speed. Unfortunately after the 3rd lap, I started having cooling issues again, so I just shut it down and called it a day.
I think I've got the cooling issues squared away now, ran some ducting from the front of the car to between the FMIC and radiator and also ran some ducting from the front to the engine bay to hopefully lower temps and get rid of that low pressure zone between the FMIC and rad.
Hope to see more of you guys on February 19th!
