For every track event I attended on the mainland (over 30 days worth) there were two tech inspections - one detailed inspection to be completed and signed off by an actual shop prior to the event, and then the normal inspection (very similar to SCCA tech inspection) the day of the event. The detailed inspection was intended to catch the stuff the day-of inspectors just don't have the time/resources to find.

I guess you guys are right the cost is not that bad but do you think that at the next one they can let us clean off the track a bit last time there were rocks all over the place thats a big turn off...Plus I really need to get some tires I can use on the track..How long are the sessions? And how many cars do they allow on the track? I will do my best to attend the next one which their site says is 18 December..
