Sunday, July 3rd, dub81 Summer Cruise.
Aloha HIIC! It's time for a friggin cruise!
When? - Sunday, July 3rd, 8:00am
Where? - We're meeting at the CORP at 8:00 to 9:00am
- 9:00am: Roll out via Kamehameha Hwy. We will remain in the right lane and then take a right onto Lumiaina St. into Waikele. (that's right, we're heading WEST this time) We will continue until the last traffic light at the end of the Waikele shops where we will take a left.
- Stay in the right lane and turn right onto H-1 West.
- Take Kunia Exit and continue onto Kunia Rd. where we will head North.
- At the end of Kunia Rd., take a left and head towards Haleiwa/North Shore, but continue onwards to Kahuku
- At this point, we can stop at suggested spots for photo shoots. Then...
- Kahuku!! Eat SHRIMP!!!
- Afterwards, we head back towards Haleiwa for shave ice and talk story.
*Suggestions for spots to park and take photos are welcome. In the past, we have taken quite a while before lunch for photos. This route/plan is to get us to food before some get hungry/cranky.
Note: Please obey all traffic laws and don't shut other motorists out of lanes we're in for the sake of keeping a uniform line. No racing, unnecessary revving, or anything that would make us look like a bunch of punks. Please leave all stops clean or cleaner than we found them.
Bring chairs, sunscreen, drinks, tools, cameras, ample fuel, and awesomeness.
