Summer Subie Cruise Picture Thread!!!
I just returned. About a dozen went to North Shore for Shaved Iced then continued back to town to head up Tantulus. I had to bail and wasn't able to make it because the wife and friend was ready to go...oh well. I will go alone next time and maybe finally get a ride up the Tantulus. It was 645 and we were still at the 76 station chilling before heading up Tantulus. Post feedback on that run. Overall, GREAT DAY and I'm sure that will be my last cruise other than TFT. DrV OUT!!!
awesome cruise guys! great meeting and chilling with all of you. hope to see a bunch of you at the meets
WRX-Zero: next time i'll let that guy know who's the boss...and the boss would be him while he's beating me with his slipper

Great turnout today! I wasn't really expecting that many cars at the first meeting point as I figured some people would still be nursing hangovers.
A big thanks to Speed Gear for offering store discounts to i-club members today and also to Joey at Midas Touch for putting up with us. Joey didn't get a chance to make coupons, but just mention the i-club cruise when you take your car to him and he'll be sure to hook you up with a discount.
Recap:
Waterpark - We had a great early morning turnout with more then 30 cars
Pearlridge - We picked up a few more cars at Pearlridge, but before all the cars were even parked the security guard approached us and asked us to leave. He was actually pretty cool about it (just doing his job) and let us hang out long enough to get some pictures.
Ala Moana - We probably had the most cars there with close to 50 (did anyone get an exact count). A few small prizes were handed out for fastest 1/4 mil times, best Solo IIer, most riced, oldest and youngest owners, charter Hawaii i-club members, and install day gurus. Most chose to eat lunch in the food court.
Hawaii Kai - Thanks to Steven's suggestion we found a good parking lot (the boat launch off Hawaii Kai drive) to meet up. We still had well over 30 cars.
China Mans Hat - After a long cruise we end up at the park near China Mans Hat. We rolled in past the Z club (having lunch). On the way out I stop by to say hi to Garrett and the Lees. Amy said when they saw us at Ala Moana they thought we were going around in circles because they kept seeing Subarus.
I had to bail at that point, but it sounds like some folks continue around the island and back into town.

We took a lot of pics up there, so there should be a couple in here soon. I just got home, & I think I'm one of 2 guys that didn't continue with the other 15 or so members that STILL went to Zippy's for dinner. It was good to see so many people "stick it out", but we could always use more!
my computer's down, but i wanted to say that the cruise was cool, it was great seeing all the cars together, and meeting all the i-clubbers.
