I posted up a proposed schedule. Will refine and finalize a few days before the cruise. Suggestions are welcome. Some things to keep in mind and work out:

1) Based on the current poll there will be 40+ cars, so parking must be considered. I tried to pick places with large parking lots.

2) I haven't received a final confirmation that Farid can host a BBQ, so we should have a backup plan such as Kakaako Beach Park.

3) Wherever we end up a plan needs to be figured out for food. (i.e. pot luck, bring your own, etc..)

4) I haven't posted them yet, but I still may try to do some contest along the way just for fun.

Updated to reflect just stop locations. We will be at these locations around the times mentioned for about 30 minutes or so with the exception of the lunch stop.

As for lunch I have several ideas:

1) Lunch at Ward Center (Buca di Beppo comes to mind)

2) Everyone picks up their own lunch at Ala Moana and eat at Kaakako Park

3) Try to organize a BBQ at the Park

My preferences are listed in the order above. It really comes down to what will be easiest with the amount of people we may have. Buca di Beppo opens at 11:30 on Sundays. We could probably reserve a whole room and just pitch in a set amount ($10-$15) each and order a bunch of stuff.

Comments?

Dunno about the stop at Pearlridge...with all the congestion that is normally associated with malls, it'll be a hard to keep the group together. As for the Ala Moana Stop, should be used just to pick up your grub. What part of the mall can accomodate 40 plus cars at once, especially during lunch IMO. Just a suggestion.

With 40+ cars congestion anywhere will make it hard to keep everyone together. Since the stores at Pearlridge don't open until 10am we shouldn't have a problem finding parking. My suggestion was the top level of the parking structure (above Ross). The only time I see that lot in heavy use is during the holidays. At Ala Moana, the corner of the lot close to the Midas Touch Booth is empty around 10am and really doesn't get heavily used during the day. We just don't want to take up all the spots in front of Midas Touch and interfer with his morning drop offs. If we go to Ward, that could be a problem trying to park in one area, but it may be early enough.
