Ever since i got my subaru about 4 months ago all i get is people wanting to race me. I'm not a street racer only tracks so i do the speed limit. And when i don't race they rev me out or tail my ***. Tonight i got into two confertations, one was in ewa beach where i was just driving to my friends house minding my own buisness the some guy in a benz pulls up and gives me the finger and then tells me one time i'm like what the hell and just don't even look after. ****ing *******. Then going home i'm getting onto the freeway from ewa and then some 4x4 dully pull along side me paces me then he pounds his truck drops back then does it again all the way to wahiawa. I don't know what it is but people just like testing suby guys or maybe it's just the way that i look i don't know but its getting very irratating.

 

Don't let em get to you. Things only irritate you if you let them. If they're really harrassing you, call the authorities.

 

word. don't even trip on those ppl. better to just drive regular and let them get pulled over or crash themselves into the guardrail. i get tailgated a lot by hondas, but i just slow down and make em pissed. haha

 

i just look at them and shake my head....btw that benz, did he give you the middle finger or the 1 tyme signal to race?

I got the same problem here on maui . Most times I find it amusing , but recently it's been annoying . Hell , I get rev-ed out by , honda's , lifted trucks ( I have no idea why . ) , and those pesky neon's . Oh yeah , I almost forgot an incident with a ford focus , he started tail-gating then decided to pass on a solid line , nearly collided with another vehicle head-on , followed the focus till the hospital by-pass called in the plates ( by-pass passes in front of the wailuku police station ) . I cruised down kaahumanu , focus turned on kaahumanu from by-pass , and didn't get more than 50 feet , before an un-marked police car pulled him over . The guy was totally wasted , arrested right on the spot . Anyway , just ignore those idiot's , I know it's hard sometimes but it's not worth getting yourself into a compramising position . They're just all just envious . Peace .....................

It's weird, it's like people think that Subarus are the standard of "fast". If you can beat a WRX or STi then your car is fast, if you can't then that means your car is slow. Kinda flattering but I wished they used a different car.

It may be the STi wing though. Since I'm wingless I hardly get egged on to race. The funniest was when a Dodge Ram with dual exhaust wanted to race me, hahah, I would have stretched him so badly it wouldn't even be funny.

you should see all the turd cars that line up next to me in the morning hours on my way to work. turd pos i tell ya!! but there is this one audi with bov that i see all the time, black, also a silver TT that has an obnoxious hks that sounds like butt. oh well those two cars are luxury rice, and the rest are powered by primer.

 

I have never been called out in my wrx but thats cuz i live in town. I think you would have trouble with driving any type of sports car going to ewa side.

True.What sucks is I live in the area and have to deal with this kind of crap all the time.

 

Ya it must be the area you live in. I haven't had any problems in my STi but I'm always around town. Other drivers probably try to stay low key cuz there's more cops here.
