Subaru Saved your life crash pic's
I'm looking for pics of your car accidents that you had in your subaru that you walked away from. looking for HIIC member that had major accidents were the cars were totaled and you walked away. Others are ok but would like more local members lol. doesn't matter if it was you or your spouse or family member
I wanna make a folder for work that i can use to show customers about subaru safety! if you wanna be in the picture that is fine but please kept it PG.
If you bought a new/used suby to replace it that would be awesome if you post that pic also!

Car Info: 01 Impreza RSTi, 08 Evo MR, and 13 XV
Model: Impreza STI
Year: 2005

What happened: I was turning on a protected left turn when a lady ran a red light and t-boned me. The accident was not a total loss according to my insurance company. The car was worth 20,000 at the time of the accident but the estimate to repair was $14.5K. As you can see in the pics my floor pan rolled and the passenger side B pillar was pushed in almost 6 inches.

After dealing with the insurance company I was able to buy my STI back for just over a $1000. In short I owed on the loan roughly the amount of what the total cost to repair was and I basically had the insurance company cut a check minus the deductible to the lien holder and I covered the rest to pay off the car.
The 05 STI's engine, trans, drivetrain, dash, and seats now reside in my 01 Impreza or as I call the RSTi

In the last picture, It was taken the day after the crash. As you can see, I'm wearing a home made cardboard splint, and I'm leaning against my car because I couldn't apply pressure on my right leg. I had to use my friend as a crutch that day. Stupid me, I declined medical service at the scene of the accident, because I thought I could walk it off. A day later, It got ALOT worse, so I finally took my stubborn self to the ER, and found out my right hand and leg had fractures....
