Ugh it's just... different. I guess we will have to get used to it. Guess I'm still keeping the GC8 until I die

Hmmm... dual clutch...
Interesting how many manufacturers are giving or thinking of giving a sequential manual gearbox with either a dual clutch or electrohydraulic clutch nowadays.

They(manufactures) give you nothing. You are paying out the nose for a product that most can not afford to replace when things go wrong and Subaru will always come up with a reason that you voided your warranty so that they don't need to pay. Still ugly, but around my area all the '07s are gone and I think the '08s bad looks helped '07 sells. lol

The rear center section with the suby logo will be body color (thank god). And it would be nice if the integrated turn signals end up on the mirrors on USDM models.

Performance figures for the Evo X are starting to come in and they are pretty disappointing (slower than Evo IX). Although the grip is good, the car is 3500 lbs and is slower in a straight line. Even though the Evo X has all the technogizmos, nothing can make up for a heavy car.

The 08 STI will likely weigh around 3200 lbs and therefore should outperform the Evo. The 08 STI will appeal to people who care more about performance. Fast cars never go out of style.
