Subaru Pwning VW???
They should make an actual commercial of it, instead of just paper. For those that aren't forum junkies like myself, one of VW's marketing campaigns is using this "My Fast" thing that's supposed to be your innner conscience of wanting to speed. One commercial shows a guy ordering food then the restaurant asks "pick-up or delivery". The "My Fast" doll says "My Fast thinks delivery is for the weak". So the guy decided to jump in his MarkV.

thats a good idea. they should duplicate that commercial, but at the end when the guy decides to go pick up the food, he would go to his garage, and in it is a mk5 and an sti, but he chooses the sti over the mk5. lol

VW has no idea what the competition has. I used to drive a 97 GTI VR6. It had decent power after I did a ton of work on the thing. It still can't keep up with a stock STi.
I've driven a Mk5 at the Solo races, not in a race, but slowly on the track. It's a huge car w/vague steering. I think a 2.0 4 cyl. powering that huge car is too small.
No regrets leaving VW. Too unreliable. Not enough car for what you pay for.
Yes, I'm a hater...
