Hey Ed, can you do me a favor and answer my question?
But since this is also a technical question, perhaps someone else may have some good info for me...

I was wondering if you could help me a bit. I have a knocking sound coming from the driver side timing belt area. My main concern is that my mods would be a problem or an "issue" at the dealership. I also have a TGV CEL I think P0188 which is Tumble generator valve #1 (RH) position sensor circuit low input
Both items are not immediate concerns as I have had that "sound" for many many months I think since I've had the car, and the TGV CEL is nothing other then a pain as I have the CEL on the dash.
What should I do as to getting this checked out or fixed?
Mitch

Thanks Ed, I will give Braun a call. As far as idling rough, I dont think so. I mean it idles rougher then normal but I would attribute that to the STi engine and tranny mounts. And as far as misfire codes, I dont think I have anymore of those after I pulled out my unichip.

So how did you diagnose the knock noise? Must have been one smart suckah that found that one!
