"Stuck" in Hawaii for the next 3mon
"Stuck" in Hawaii for the next 3mon
I got "stuck" taking a long-term assignment in Honolulu, and they put me up at some hotel called the Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel. Hah, enough playing victim... I'm so excited! I just finished booking my flights and hotel, and I'll be there for about 3 months.
I'm looking to meet new people, and get a couple things accomplished while I'm down there. I'm definitely going skydiving off the north shore, because the first time I went was last fall, and it was AMAZING. Then, I want to see some beautiful waterfalls, and maybe find the time to make it to Big Island to see some lava flows. Who knows, but I'm down for almost anything.
I'm 29, male, and from New Jersey originally, but currently live in Virginia (for amost 4 years now). I have a couple pics of myself uploaded here, but the rest are on my website @ www.christopherwu.net . I can't wait to touch down, unpack, and unwind. It's going to be a hectic 3 months at work, but I know I'll find the time to have fun too.
...just sucks 'cause I can't take my 2006 STi with me. Man it'd be fun driving in little circles.

I find it funny Lance (2.65Stroke) introduce himself 2 hours before you did, and his tread gets 18 welcome messages, and you haven't had one yet......I guess size does matter(Motor displacement joke)
Anyways, Welcome to the HIIC forums bro!!! If you never been here before, your gonna love it down here. Suby community is pretty tight since were all on an island. If you can, try to make it out to the HIIC Friday night meets. It's a great opp to meet some pretty cool people and talk about subys...
Peace --Dave--

Hey Chris! Sorry about you being 'Stuck' here.
What better place to get stuck in for 3 months?
Like Dave said, welcome to HIIC & the 808. Hope you enjoy your trip here. I'm sure you'll meet a lot of great Suby peeps while you're here. Not to mention all the other great people here too.
Aloha,
Shawn

Aloha! Enjoy your stay in the 808
I'm not sure if it's possible to get "stuck" in Hawaii though... It should be described as a pleasant and unexpected oportunity to tan.
