we're generally against it because of things like what happened on Halloween night, but it's probably something we're all guilty of.

Im not goin to lie, when I was younger, I used to street race every weekend. As ive grown, I have had friends pass away from street racing in cars and motorcycles. If your goin to race, keep it on the track.

The way I see it is well if your going to be doing something some where your not supposed to go ahead as long as you only hurt yourself

Now you do it on the street and hurt someone else b/c of it then thats when I have a problem with it. Not only did you kill someone or yourself but you give all subys a bad name.

and raise my insurance rate lol j/p

i think what she meant was that any teenager with a set of keys can go straight and mash the gas. if you want a real test try something safe, challenging, and fun like auto-x. fact of the matter is that street racing is pointless but we're all guilty of a little "spirited driving". it's the stupid ones who push their cars way beyond what they can handle or do it in a crowded area that make me angry

Racing is for tracks. If you street race IMO it means that you do not care about the lives of anyone around you. Do what's fun in a controlled environment. If not, I really see no problem with locking up those convicted of street racing in a box and randomly taking shots at them.

So no it does not mean that you don't have mad skillz yo, it just means that you should not be treated any different than someone firing a gun out the window of a car. It's illegal because cars are dangerous as-is, not at speed, and not in a environment of competition. To pretend that driving is not dangerous is stupid. to street race is well moronic.

If you race on the street, I have no problem saying I hope that you kill yourself.
Just don't crash into me, assh*le.

Nah Justin, the diffrence between pushing your limits on a open road, and putting your *** in trouble is one thing. Trying to race somebody on roads puts at the VERY LEAST your life and someone elces at risk. There are not many places in the US where there are open roads with nobody around. I'm saying that driving spirited is not safe, but streetracing is a whole nother beast. I'm not going to listen to **** about how, "I do it where it's not busy, etc, etc" It's BS and you and I both know it.

Auto-X teaches you the limits, Justin can preach for hours to this. The street will not teach you limits till it's too late.

dood, I've raced on Laguna Seca, at 3 different AutoX places, 1 RallyX, Sacramento Raceway Dragstrip, and on the street.

My point is just becuase you street race doesn't mean you have no skillz...
