Thanks for the comments. You know everyone want to see everyone do well in their lives. So the main reason is that is... If one more person is safer on the road from this story, or the command will get involved in the process of getting another place for us to race and hang out legally, then well I accomplished my mission.
So Thanks....
Articles don't change policy or make stuff happen. They just open the eyes to the people who didn't have any clue, but are they are the people that can make it happen.

the good we do is minimalized if realized at all, and that same visibility tries and convicts us for every thing we do wrong. so the few "@@shats" make a bad name for all of us. dont generalize. i was given the impression when i first came to the Islands that all locals hated "us" and were out to get us. well, guess what, i met I-Club and i changed my mind. yes, some locals are military haters, but not all. likewise, not ALL military are evil, streetracing, brawling folk. cmon, its racism at its worst...open ur eyes people...

a lot of people speed on that run. it's not all military, but having that long stretch from the h3 straight to kmcb. i don't even fight speeding that stretch. and i didn't bash the military. extra money, don't pay rent. why do you think dealerships always have military financing- short stay. they want to enjoy themselves with cars and bikes. i probably would too. all i said was respect the aina. which meant be careful on the road. the h3 is death waiting to happen. i thought you wanted input for your article. my bad.

OK now that we have all gotten the sand out our panties. Let's get back to what the tread was ment to be. Maybe a way to keep the track open. Because it is a way for EVERYONE to stay alive. If my understaning is right "Respect the aina" means respecting the land and the people right. That goes for EVERYONE. Thanks and have a nice day.

Why should we put innocent lives in danger ? theres no reason for that.... They should keep the track open or figure something out....
Stay safe at the tracks and relax...
just my 2 cents....

i don't really want to continue the discussion. i'm not going to defend locals that don't care for the military, cause i feel that if you join, it's up yo you. i don't hate the military. i just think that everyone can be safer on that stretch. i only say that cause that stretch ends at the kmbc. just casue your car goes fast and can handle it, doesn't mean you are a good enough driver to handle it. that's all. that's why there are so many accidents. seeing what your car can do is what sti's are for, but remember that you have to learn what you can do with it first.
