I was thinking about spray painting my stock rims. Because i REALLY want to do things to my car, but have no money.
If i cleaned, stripped, sanded, primer, many light coats, light sanding, and 4-5 clear coats...
i like the stock rims, just not the color.
Am i crazy?
Josh
P.S. anyone want to see the surfing video i made?
It's 52MB tho, and hosted off my puter so it's a slow download, stupid bandwidth limit!!

Richard,
That post rocked. My mind's set. Now I just have to defeat my procrastination and also the way that I put stuff off until the last minute (and the way I'm redundant.)
Josh,
I thought about this before, but was only thinking of taking them to a paintshop. Maybe you and I could spend a weekend in an autocrafts shop at Pearl or Schofield, have access to the tire-removal machine, and their paint equipment. Between you and I, I'm sure we could find a painting guru.
Maybe I'm thinking too lofty.

I was just planning on just masking the tires and leaving the car on jack stands for a day, dont really like the idea of driving with wet paint!
Maybe we could just have Painting/BBQ party! BBQ rocks!

Seems like you could use any color and just put the clear wheel paint over it. I was planning on graphite or black or white... I cant decide!

I'll give you $5 if you go with that color of green. No, make that $6.
