hopefully my car will be running again by the next race...for those of you wondering what happened, my radiator neck for the upper hose snapped, and i lost coolant at the end of the run...i was lucky i was able to get the hose back on, just enough to tighten the clamp and get it to hold...myron, i woulda talked story with you more, but i had to get my car sorted out and go home to sleep, as i had to go to work again that night...

and a HUGE makalo to joey for helping me out...thanx bro...

and it sucks that i got no time...i did one run, and figured it'd at least move me up in my class, but no dice...

i have a speedware harness bar behind my front seats.

[] <- camera
[ <- C shape bracket mount
() <- harness bar

between the camera and C bracket, i have washers and 1 screw that goes through the top of the C into the standard camera base, washers fine tune the height.

between the C bracket and harness bar are 2 cheap $.99ish brackets that clamp onto the bar and have a hole in the top. that is screwed into 2 holes in the bottom of the C bracket.

i have a 1" strip riveted on, connecting the open part of the C bracket for stiffeness.

that is it. when you have it on for scca, you need a secondary tie down to the camera which i use zip ties for. b

B on your 4th run I think you hit the 3rd cone in the slalom on the back section before the gate entrance....at about 38 sec into your video. Could be wrong though. Lemme know what you think.

BTW I WILL be at the december race, hopefully with 02's installed

i know it looks close there, but the cone was called in turn 3 (for sure) and actually, that is supposed to be the crossover part(i just learned that from pat's bro, so i was led to ask the wrong guy if i hit anything). so i am thinking the triangle cone or immediately after that, because before that, it is wide open.

hard to see in the video as everything looks close. but i guess that is a good thing. in the future the camera will be aiming backwards, maybe strap a walkie-talkie near the camera for the full result. hey, that sounds good.

crap, was i supposed to call you last night about the brace? sorry if so, i'll try on thurs or something.
