they aren't exactly limited to 4 doors, as you may see some mustangs, camaros, monte carlos(new fwd ver) one of the main stipulations is for them to be able to install all the radio equip, lights w/out great expense.(if you take a trip to the top of the airport trade center you can see the guys installing the equipment on the cars) every year the list is updated. in manoa there is a 4dr g35...... nice.
as far as 4 cylinders go i believe the only reason it wouldn't be allowed is for the reason of durability issues (hoppie, tall guy, hslin, correct me if i'm wrong) one neat factoid--> a typical patrol car starts up at least 15 times a day- u can imagine how long your starter will live at that usage- -

G-R-E-G Why dont you become a damn cop already!?!? You know the answer to as many questions as we do. Plus your sales experiance will help you emensly with dealing with people. Honestly, there is good money to be had as a P.O. and I think you would make a good cop. JMO Plus, you involve your self with many things in this site and have a drive, you would be a good liason between HPD and the tuner community.

And no I'm not trying to make up for the Graiggggg insult. (but I hope this gives me back some of my coolness points.)

I said there is good money to be had. Meaning if you wanna work your a$$ off, there is plenty ways to get $$$$ i.e. special duty, O.T. and court. Just ask M.YO how much she made last year. No life but good money.
