STI Limited and $17K/700hp Dealer Upgrade???
SO what do you guys think of the new STI limited thats coming out this year?? It sucks that limited means only dressup upgrades as in sunroof, leather trim(which is the cool), and WOW-black painted brembos!!!LOL
When I was at the airport Subaru today, the manager mentioned a $17K, 700hp upgrade option available through Subaru. This is the first I heard of this factory option and he mentioned that someone has already bought an Impreza with this option. So how has this car?!?!?!??!?

Damn dude, $17k + price of the STi = too rich for my blood!!! 700hp on street tires with no raceway park coming soon. Thats gonna give those tweaked out nissan skylines from Signal japan, Apexi, HKS japan, TopFuel, and the rest of the top dog tuners there in the land of the rising sun a run for their money!!! Hope theirs gonna be time trials for these two beasts!!! AWD NISMO SKYLINE vs. AWD STi
Hmm soounds interesting.. maybe too good to be true but unless we see evidence.. we can all just dream....
It almost sounds like the deal between a certain Mitsu. dealership and a tuner shop..
I am not sure if some of you guys knew this but (For Mitsu.)this is a hell of a deal.. and a bump in performance for very little in terms of cash..
anyways check it out.. and yes they have been doing this for a while now ....

So will they honor the warranty on this 700hp car? And do they expect whoever dishes out that kind of money to drive it like a family sedan? Wonder what kind of drive train it has to support that much power..

I know Easy-Street will be selling a limited amount of signature series cars through select dealerships (kinda like the BR-EVOs and Saleen Mustangs) with a warranty. You pay a lot more than if you were to do the upgrade yourself, I guess part of the extra is the "limited edition" and warranty that comes with the package. The ES car is 425 hp. I don't know of any 700 hp being offered by anyone.
