Red face in regards to demos

i know most people are afraid of buying a "pounded" car. let me shed some light for those of you who bought a "new" car. being a car salesman i have seen some test drives that will make some of you cringe. we fear of the demo car not knowing that the"new" car we just bought in fact experienced a much harder 14 mile test drive which was probably driven at 100 mph for a 10 duration on the H-1 or H-3.....

and....??? That's just another example of dishonesty and a lack of respect for others......which has kind of become the point of this thread.

I was the first and only test driver of my car and it was driven directly over from dealer prep while I was there. So I just have to worry about those first few test miles and the dealer prep folks.

During my "internship" at Servco (I received a scholarship for school and as a stipulation in the contract I had to work at Servco for a certain amount of time) I "ran" cars from the pier where they were received to the Sand Island storage facility.

Let me just say - the cars are *NOT* treated gently. Most of you certainly aren't the first one to have gone WOT in your cars.

Um...the 22B was a 400+ limited production GC8 that will never be built again...are you sure you are talking about the right car?

If you check out the Aug-Sep issue of SPEED magazine from AUstralia you will read an article about the possibility of the 22B coming back... let me do some scanning.

Another shot

Originally from the Aug-Sep issue of SPEED
PLANS are afoot to release the wildest road-going Impreza WRX ever fit for public consumption, according to Subaru sources in Japan. Codenamed the WRCar, this limited-edition road car set to hit Japanese showrooms next December wil share body shape and some specs with the '03 Subaru World Rally Championship race car....

"I would imagine, if such a vehicle exists, it would be for the (Japanese) domestic market and will not be avilable in Australia asa fully homologated model,"... However, he went on to say there was the possibility that Subaru Australia would bring in a handful of examples and offer them to collectors - as it did with the 22B.
