yesterday i did some research on vehicles registered(by manufacturer in hawaii) through my dealerships NADA magazine. it appears that Subarus are no where near the top 25 cars registered in hawaii. the number one car(light duty vehicle) was the Toyota Tacoma. Honda, and Nissan followed along with everyone else. all these cars were listed in the thousands- while subaru did not even make the list.
(i will scan the charts and post later)
i think that our cars are so unique that we tend to notice the 5 or six we see everyday- not even noticing the hundred or so hondas and toyotas passing by on a daily basis. i can see why an S2000 can be so attractive...since only one per month are allocated per dealership(with exceptions to special orders)
okay enuff hijacking - just had to express myself thar!
