SSQV Compatibility 2013 Forester XT

My friend is removing his SSQV BOV from his 2011 STI and offered to give it to me, but someone of subaruforester.org mentioned that this BOV won't fit on the 2013 Forester XT? Has anyone tried to fit this BOV on their XT or know of a friend that did it? Any information you can provide regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Here's a question for you...

Do you have a lot of mods on your car?

If not, do yourself a favor and toss the BOV.

On a separate note, why don't you try fitting the SSQV box on to your car?

The STi TMIC flange and your forester TMIC flange are both different shapes. Yours looks like a diamond, the other is more of a triangle shape. And also if you add on a bov that doesn't recirc, it'll make your car die out if you come to a hard stop.

ok this is the extreme case but in general it's not going to benefit you to just add a bov. die_lawn is correct though the flanges are different so it will not fit.

You will need the correct flange to make it run. Now as for function....will it work well? No....you will either need to run a blow thru setup or tune through speed density to make it work properly. If your not down with doing that, I suggest you hold off until you do.

Thanks for all the information everyone, I decided to leave it stock, plus the slight whirring sound of the turbo spooling up makes me happy enough. I may add an Nvidia Q300 exhaust at some later point but I love my FXT as is for now. Thanks again everyone, the honest advice is much appreciated.

COBB Access Port Stage 1 with COBB SF Intake and Air box, your turbo spool and BPV will be super loud you wont be dissapointed, just make sure you flash your ECU with the intake if not don't get an intake.
