SPT Exhaust: Bosal or Genome?
I've seen pictures of the SPT exhaust identifying it as made by Bosal and it looks like that is correct. There is, however, a seller on NASIOC selling what he is calling an SPT exhaust, but the pictures are of a USDM Genome. I vaguely remember some discussion about this, but I can't find the thread. Were both exhausts called SPT?
I would buy it from the guy but he has RAISED his price twice, I'm not sure he's going to give me a price that I like.

There's actually 3 axlebacks that were sold by SPT at one time or another.
The two normal ones made by Bosal that had the round and oval tips.
Then there's the one that is referred to as Genome which has a much larger tip and is almost N1-like but not mounted at an N1 angle.
They're all fine but you get no more performance than stock.

Speaking of going loud, I'm now running a Blitz Nur Spec. It doesn't seem nearly as loud as the TXS RFL, but I haven't driven around with it for an extended period yet so I'm not 100% sure.

I sold it then tried to buy it back AGAIN, but was too late. I've lost track of it since.

Invidia catless DP to Kakumei adapter to factory STi intermediate pipe. I have a Maddad Hybrid intermediate pipe on the way in, that will eliminate the adapter and the resonator.
After driving the car to work today I think the exhaust is a little louder than I would like. Also, maybe because of my particular set up, the sound quality is not what I expected. I don't know how to describe it, somewhat higher pitched and raspy that what I wanted, I like the deeper (though much quieter) rumble of my Prodrive.
Maybe the Maddad Hybrid + the Prodrive axleback will give me the sound I'm looking for - still deep but slightly lounder than the Prodrive with factory intermediate pipe. I'll find out when the pipe shows up. In the meantime, I think the Blitz has to come off, I don't think my wife will be happy with the increased exhaust sound.
