hey my filipino buddy hahaha, you should host an install day, but before you do make sure you go to the meets and get to know at least couple of these guys because that's what they'll probably tell you anyway...

A spring compressor is the least of the problems, hopefully you have a big manly beefcake wrench and/or breakerbar to remove the bolts holding the strut on. Especially if it's still factory torqued, those little subaru assembly workers just tighten the crap out of the bolts on the car. If you have access to air tools then shoots I'll help you, that way wouldn't take that long at all.

As far as having a shop do it, did you ask vakamon for a quote? Go see Ryan there.

I have springs that need to go on mine but my stuff doesnt get here until the 31st. I was thinking of doing it at the bast auto port with airtools and a lift and such on like a saturday. Anyway maybe I can get you on base splitsecond, and we can both install them unless someone has a place and I can do mine as well.

I've helped 808STi do his springs caveman style! NO compressors needed for this install. If you guys are doing it in one place this saturday, I'm down to help.

ps, Blake, can you PM me your number? I seem to have lost it.
