I have the splitter and it seems to work well, but is a lot heavier then the one it replaces. I think it will only work with the larger STI scoop though.
What does the radiator shroud do?

Nevermind, just read the description from another advertisers write-up:

a radiator plate to stop air from moving over the radiator instead of through it.

I just posted to be a buddy. Actually, those two items are pretty high on my list, especially at that price, but I can't afford them. So it was like wishful thinking more than anything.

i just received mine on the 24th.

i got the whole sti scoop/painted and the splitter + radiator pieces from gruppe-s recently. the scoop looked like it was scratched and then painted over. the splitter is very heavy but looks cool under the scoop. the fit of the scoop is perfect and i give the splitter's fit a B+ rating. the splitter mounting point at the direct top center where the plastic expanding screw like thing goes needs to be offset like the OEM black one. other than that, i just hope the screws are able to hold up the splitter with constant hood closing and harsh road conditions. i actually wouldn't mind an all alum. splitter (lighter) if there is one. (still a newbie)

I just had my STI scoop re-painted last week when I took my new bumper in for painting.
It looks a lot better now. When I received it (painted) from the vendor it looked like they didn't put enough paint on it and had a faded look.

I've had the heavy splitter on for around 6 months and have removed and put it back on a few times. Haven't seen any problems with it staying in place.

B and Tim,

Great posts. Push2 has one as well. I would have already ordered already, but I'm holding back on abusing the plastic for a while. I will be getting the splitter sometime or other, though.
