I believe it is KITV 4 with Keoki Kerr. All I know is it's the news channel with Gary Sprinkle & Pamela Young. Traffic enforcement HAS to give out 4 tickets per hour. The story was a bait & switch. KITV only provided a teaser with limited information for starters. They will finish the story on the ten 0'clock news.

wow, that seems so unfair to all you guys and gals. So if you even go 2mph over are you gonna get ticketed?

I am thankful that I drive a wagon every day. When I drive by cops, even with my loud *** exhaust, they don't even glance at me. So super under cover I don't even need a radar detector!

I don't speed, but if I did I wouldn't need one. That's just how stealthy the wagon is.

I am a "5-over" driver and have been followed by many police officers at those speeds and have never been pulled over for speeding. I always thought the they gave you the five as a margin of error for calibration of equipment (speedos and radar equipment) one of my officer friends also gave up to 7 over as his cushion. But being pulled over for going one over seems to open up a whole lot of calibration issues and factors. After watching the news telecast, I found it disturbing that they threatened officers of "reduced privileges" if they could not sustain the proposed numbers.

well, finally this is confirmed complete with memo's as evidence that this is mandated by the higher ups in command. it's clear that some of the guys in the force are not too happy with this new policy. it will be interesting how far this will go. will it create enough public outroar like how the vancams did years ago?
