Anything Unusual?

 

Hey is this a problem? Look the one plug is a lot longer than the other. I bought the plugs that are supposed to be right for the STi! The BKR7E plugs!

 

Are they "for" a STI or WRX?

 

STi according to the forums.

 

But both STI and WRX take the same plugs.

 

WTF...the long one is the stock plug?

are you sure you bought the right plugs? also, are the gaps the same?

 

Well I installed the plugs and they work. There wasn;t really anything unusual. I am waiting to hear back if I need to use different plugs.

 

Just think of it this way...if the NGK catalog said to use that one and if your car breaks...NGK has to pay for your engine

I just talked to NGK, and for this STI this is our plug: lfr7aix. He said that copper is not the better plug, and that it draws more power when strained. The lfr7aix is 1 stage colder, and has a copper core. I'm glad that I am everyone's test dummy, now how do I get to the parts store?

Don't use those short plugs Nate. I don't remember the correct PN for the STi, but you can find it on Nasioc.

 

Ryan, it's to ****ing late. Now I can't drive my car! No one on the island has the right plugs. I overnight ordered 8 of them from the mainland and they will be at speedgear tomorrow night.

 

When you come to pick them up, bing your original plugs if you still have them. I wanna check them out.

 

Yeah I will be bringing them. I have to find a way to get down there though.
